I am an avid supporter of supporting local and take enormous delight and satisfaction with helping owners of food products turn their products into brands. I help ambitious and passionate artisan producers establish, build or strengthen their brand, ensuring consistency both offline and online. I help them drive connections and awareness through social media training and support and help build brand credibility and loyalty through strategic marketing initiatives. I help their business strengthen and grow.
My marketing career started as a Brand Manager looking after the marketing strategy and all marketing activity for well-known global drink brands like Campari and Courvoisier cognac.
I managed the UK marketing for Courvoiser cognac and took the brand to number one in the cognac market in the UK for the first time in the brand's history!
I worked with workplace fruit delivery company Fruitdrop and helped them expand from a small startup business to a national company with a turnover of over £1 million.
I now help smaller food and drink start-ups and artisan producers by taking big brand strategic thinking and expertise and applying them to smaller businesses to help them grow.
My areas of expertise and passion within marketing are brand building and social media.
I have worked with many local artisan producers and retailers, helping them establish, build or strengthen and grow their brand.
Through my group and one-to-one social media training and social media management packages, I have helped brands connect and gain greater awareness online using effective social media techniques.
I've now set up The Artisan Academy, an online community that helps artisan producers on a national and international scale.
Because foodie folk are busy bees - either in fields and/or kitchens, picking, making and baking I have created online learning programmes which can be consumed at a time that suits and in bite size chunks. My marketing training programmes and products will be affordable, fit into busy lifestyles and will help build brands and expand businesses.
